Having purchased the property from the developer, the client here in Dubai was very keen to adapt the landscape and to add design-led ideas that would make the garden and pool more personal and individually tailored. We designed the outside spaces in respect of the planting style and selection of plants. We also incorporated the glass balustrade for the swimming pool to give an uninterrupted view of the pool from the house while keeping it child-friendly and safe.
We selected the outdoor sofas, exterior rugs and co-ordinated the blinds for exterior shading which is so important here, and colour co-ordinated all the fabrics to tie in with the architecture and colour of the building.
We used a lovely selection of clay containers within the main body of the garden and changed the tempo in the roof garden by installing faux grass and white pots.
